Job Description

1. Knowledge in:

  • Laser & imaging optics
  • Optical design and analysis
  • Optical Metrology
  • Optical Coatings
  • 2. Knowledge on types of lenses, lenses materials & their applications, selection parameter and types of coatings applied to the lenses along with the uses and selection parameter.
  • 3. Knowledge on laser safety standards and basic infra structure for an optics lab requirement depending on the specifications
  • 4. Design of prisms and mirrors for projectors, Miniature displays and LCD Screens considering the required output parameters.
  • 5. Determination of the focal length depending on the lasers, mirrors and prisms.
  • 6. Knowledge with infrared and general optics systems strongly preferred with systematic methodology for design of such lasers considering the output parameters like beam intensity, beam size, beam shape, image analysis, spot uniformity, power loss in the beam and type of lenses and evaluating the design.
